Jane Pratt, editor of the much loved but now shuttered magazines Sassy and Jane, has finally launched her new women’s website, xoJane — “where women go when they are being selfish, and where their selfishness is applauded” — and there’s already a lot to take in. Among the current features are a piece about a woman who “obsessively monitor[s]” her husband’s lube bottle, which our faster-reading friends already unpackaged a little, and the essay “My Rapist Friended Me on Facebook (and All I Got Was This Lousy Article).” They’re also putting diarrhea medicine on their faces, wearing ugly clothes, and crying in stairwells. Ladies!
