Being Happy Will Kill You

If you’re happy and you know it, death approaches: “Highly cheerful” people apparently die earlier than their “more reserved” peers, possibly because they engage in riskier behavior, or possibly because they’re so infuriatingly happy that they “com[e] to harm.” Wait. What?
Anyway, this seems like some kind of full-circle moment in the realm of “___ Will Kill You” stories, so, dude, perhaps a sparkler? Speaking of death, though, it’d be interesting to know how frequently people actually die from the thing they suspect they’ll die from.
