Win An Enchanted Doll
by Bonnie
Look at these beautiful dolls. Do you feel like you will die if you can’t have a doll like this of your own? I really do. They sell for well over $10k, but right now there is a contest ending March 10. Let’s try to win a doll!
This year’s contest requires that you pitch your idea for an Enchanted Doll you’d like to see made.It could be a fully developed character with a back-story, or a purely visual costume, or even an idea for a new accessory. To enter the contest you have to propose your idea in a coherent fashion by articulating it within 100–200 words, stating the source of your inspiration (eg: fairy tale, song, painting): and providing a supporting visual material of original work, such as a drawing, a painting, original photography or a collage, etc.
Show and Tell us your dream doll ideas in comments, pretty please. The prize doll will be nude, which saves you the time of peeking under her dress as soon as you get her. (Come on, this is the first thing we did every time.) I found the Enchanted Dolls to be perfectly, interestingly naked, without being pornographic. There are boy dolls too. Here is a video of how I will react if I don’t win the doll and you do: Doll Fight.
When I needed to come up with brand name to give my dolls an identity, I decided to name them after Paul Gallico’s fictional, short story called “Enchanted Doll”, where a young woman creates dolls with so much love that they enchant people at first sight with their compelling, delicate, life-like beauty.
And this is my goal also.
