Server Not Servant has the charming tale of a mass of co-eds who arrived to an unreserved dinner table at different times, “tossed around” their orders “like peanuts at a circus” (in the words of the Village Voice blog Fork in the Road), and at the end of it all, asked for 47 separate checks, and also if a great number of them could pay for those checks with Groupons, ‘no’ not being an answer that they appreciated.
