MTV Version of Skins Fast Approaching

The short-awaited MTV version of the wonderful British series Skins will arrive on January 17, and here’s a new extended trailer for it. But this doesn’t look very good, which, of course, is never a criterion for not watching something weekly. But the clip seems like it will never end, and while it starts off slightly original-seeming (probably because my memory is terrible), eventually the material starts to sound lifted word-for-word from across the pond, rather than inspired by it. No wonder the show’s already wrapped and ready to go! [Via]
