“Why Is My Toilet Paper Shrinking?”

Toilet paper’s reaction to the recession has been to quietly, sneakily get smaller — but that didn’t evade the sharp-eyed folks at Fortune, who put all the damning evidence into one large, difficult-to-read infographic (click the image to see), the gist of which is that unless the trend reverses itself, toilet paper will someday resemble tiny spools of floss. And although the chart is useful (or, if not actually useful, then at least fact-y), the real gems are in the post’s comments section. For instance, says Mary from Chapel Hill,
