Sally Jessy Raphael May Be Returning to Your Screen

Talk show host Sally Jessy Raphael, whose 19-year run with Sally ended in 2002, is apparently coming back to TV with a reality show about her life called I’m Still Sally. On it, she will be found yelling at her assistant, husband, and housekeeper, and that’s about it. SJR is appearing on today’s Oprah with other deposed TV hosts like Ricki Lake, Geraldo Rivera, and Montel Williams.

The truth is I don’t think we can ever return to the precious era of Sally! Partly because this reality show sounds terrible, and it’s not the first time Raphael has popped up on weird, bad shows — she’s appeared on The Surreal Life and, less offensively, Hollywood Squares since retiring Sally. But hey, Oprah is leaving. Anything could happen to and on television. Anything! Sally also has some podcast/radio show situation that I’m about to go check out. And the woman is 75!
