Scientists are sad to discover that pregnant people who eat fish-oil pills do not produce smarter kids, as many have thought and will probably continue to quietly believe. “I wish it were so simple, that there was a pill we could take to make our children smarter,” says a foolish doctor who hopefully knows no genies, because think of the madness a smart-baby pill would unleash on the world.
